For those of you who are unaware, last night was The Harry Potter Alliance's 8th Anniversary... 8 whole years of fan activism, decreasing world suck and generally being incredibly awesome people!
London Loveiosa were invited to join in the celebrations after gaining 123,123 referrals and $705 in donations!
We opened the live stream with party hats and party horns to kick start the party atmosphere!
Then came our big surprise, which you can view below
Here's a few words from some of the chapter members who attended!
Rebecca: We FREAKING sang with the Potter Puppet Pals, Neil said he missed us during the terrible moments of no internet connection and Andrew Slack called us the "best people on the face of the planet" that is going on every poster/press release/gravestone from now on.
Cheryl: Being on the livestream was so much fun. The reception we received, if the comments are anything to go by, was brilliant and we hope more people will be interested in joining our chapter for the next year of decreasing world suck.
Rebekka: My favourite part of the livestream was when we sang The Mysterious Ticking Noise with the Potter Puppet Pals. It was great that we could all be involved and it was fun to see Neil drowning in puppets!
Jessica: It was great for the entire chapter to be celebrated and to be able to talk about the things we've achieved over the last few weeks. Having so many members crammed into one bed is something I'll never forget, and the atmosphere in the room was incredible. We all had so much fun, and Neil's puppeteering made the celebration even better than I could have imagined.
